August 4th, 2011 -- Visitors to this year's Indiana State Fair will get an up-close look at the types of transit that are part of a comprehensive transportation plan for Central Indiana. During "Indy Connect Day," Friday, Aug. 19, State Fair Boulevard will be transformed into the Indy Connect Experience, where guests can immerse themselves in the Indy Connect plan and see how it could change the way they get to work, school, doctor's appointments, or the grocery store.

The announcement was made today at Union Station and was highlighted by the official hand-off of a year-long regional transportation study conducted by the Central Indiana Transit Task Force, a group of business leaders dedicated to identifying transportation solutions for Central Indiana residents.
