Public input has been tremendous for the Regional Bikeways Plan. Earlier this year we held six public meetings, attended other local meetings and made a public survey available that generated more than 1,000 responses. This plan offers a look at current cycling conditions and provides a vision plan of more than 1,200 miles of bikeways in Central Indiana. The plan also provides recommendations for investment in bikeways through 2035 to work toward that vision. You can also examine the responses from the public survey.

This plan is available for public comment beginning Monday, August 22, until Friday, September 23. Following the public comment period the plan will be presented to the Indianapolis Regional Transportation Council for adoption on November 2.
