August 19 is "Indy Connect Day" at the Indiana State Fair

August 4th, 2011 -- Visitors to this year's Indiana State Fair will get an up-close look at the types of transit that are part of a comprehensive transportation plan for Central Indiana. During "Indy Connect Day," Friday, Aug. 19, State Fair Boulevard will be transformed into the Indy Connect Experience, where guests can immerse themselves in the Indy Connect plan and see how it could change the way they get to work, school, doctor's appointments, or the grocery store.

Indy Connect Announces Regional Transportation Plan

November 8th, 2010 -- Indy Connect, Central Indiana's Transportation Initiative, released a long-range transportation plan today that centers on a comprehensive regional bus system that connects to rail, as well as roadways, and bike and pedestrian walkways. Indy Connect aims to gather public input

February 10th, 2010 -- INDIANAPOLIS—Central Indiana’s transportation future took a major step forward today with the announcement of Indy Connect: Central Indiana’s Transportation Initiative, a regional effort to gather public input on a draft transportation plan for Central Indiana. The announcement was made today at Union Station and was highlighted by the official hand-off of a year-long regional transportation study conducted by the Central Indiana Transit Task Force, a group of business leaders dedicated to identifying transportation solutions for Central Indiana residents.
