The Central Indiana Transit Plan

Your Input,
Your Transit.

See the Plan

Indy Connect is Central Indiana’s regional transit initiative. Our goal is simple: to make it easier for people to get where they want to go.

The Benefits of

Transit

Business Attraction

Companies looking for places to locate their businesses, whether retail, office, or industrial, are increasingly considering access to transit services in deciding where they should go.

Improved Job Access

Currently, only 33% of jobs in Indianapolis can be reached via transit in 90 minutes. Expanding transit means expanded job opportunities for thousands of people.

Quality of Life

Improved transit will boost the development of mixed-used, walkable neighborhoods near transit lines, which are increasingly desirable among the Millennial and Boomer generations.
