BRT vs. Traditional Bus System
Indy Connect Day at the 2011 Indiana State Fair offered fairgoers an up-close look at the proposed transportation plan. One common question was "How is Bus Rapid Transit different from a traditional bus system?" In this video, Lori Miser, Executive Director of the MPO, explains the difference.

 

Here's Our Plan
This video outlines Central Indiana's proposed long-range transportation plan that connects people to people and people to places. This plan is the result of extensive public outreach and planning by regional transporation experts. It is the most comprehensive plan ever developed for the Central Indiana region -- with more help from the public than ever before.

Indy Connect, Central Indiana's Transportation Initiative, was launched in Feb. 2010. This video explains the proposed plan and was used to gather public input on the future of transporation in Central Indiana.

On October 30, 2013 the Indy Connect team presented a webinar detailing the current recommended alternatives for the Red and Blue Rapid Transit lines.  The webinar went over the details of the recommended alternatives coming out of a year of study and answered questions from attendees.
